Continuous Professional Development(CPD) is a program which was designed by the Ethiopian ministry of Education some years back for teachers who are involving in the teaching learning process in governmental schools. It is being implemented in primary, secondary and preparatory schools in all parts of the country. the very intent of the program is to enroll teachers in various tasks of the program and make them competent . In contrary, what we have on the ground, especially among preparatory school teachers is completely a different thing.
